Sunday Post #5

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme.

I'm afraid last week was not particularly exciting. My hubby has been sick all week and acting like he is dying so I've been hanging with him and playing video games with him to keep him company. It seems like every time I sit down to read, I have to get right back up to make him tea or get his medicine. Seriously what would they do without us?! Big babies!

Oh and it was our second wedding anniversary on the 13th! Since the hubby was sick we are doing out fancy dinner when he is feeling better and can actually taste his food. This seems to be a going theme because we where both sick on our anniversary last year lol. Maybe next year I will plan a trip for the whole week and see if that keeps the sicknesses away!

I did finish  some books and write reviews on them:

I am forcing my ADD brain to finish Pure, Deep Blue Secret and Sweet Venom this week but sadly only one of those counts for the Cleaning out Your E-reader Challenge that is going on until the end of the month.

I  got a few books! Some I won, some I bought, and one was randomly sent to me which was super cool!

Wither – Lauren DeStefano
Stella Bain – Anita Shreve
Break Out – Nina Croft
Roses – G.R. Mannering

I am super excited that I have been invited to participate is a few blog tours but with three families (divorces) to see each holiday and at least 3/4 dogs coming to hang out for each holiday, I am not sure of what kind of time I will have. Hopefully I will get to do at least one during the holiday madness this year and many more next year.

Can you believe it is almost 2014?!
What are your holiday plans?!

P.S. You might have noticed that my blog has changed looks, yet again(I promise that I like this one and will keep it for at least a year....or 6 months). In the changing process it broke the comments, I managed to get the back but there are some that I  cannot comment back on, for some unknown reason. I am not a web designer and am self learning HTML and sometimes I give up because I just don't get it lol. SORRY!
