Blog Tour: Review, Excerpt and Givaway! Lean On Me by Nicola Haken
Title: Lean On Me
Series: Take My Hand
Author: Nicola Haken
Publication Date: January 21, 2014
Format: e-book
Rachel Mason oozes confidence. She’s outgoing, adventurous and would chop off her right arm before caring what other people think of her or her disability.
Right?
Jared Mattheson on the other hand, is more than a little goofy and a whole lot of carefree. He’s happy living the bachelor life on his father’s credit card, takes nothing seriously and wouldn’t know difficulty if it slapped him in the face.
Right?
With Emily and Dexter away in the States, Rachel and Jared are left behind to keep each other company. They share the same sense of fun, their personalities bounce off one another perfectly and perhaps inevitably, they become best friends. But what happens when the lines of friendship start to blur? How will they cope when the sides of themselves they’ve kept hidden from the world for so long begin to show?
Their journey together may have started with fun, games and alcohol – but it seems the future has other ideas.
Turns out, even the strongest of people need someone to lean on sometimes.

Review: Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
Author: Laini Taylor
Publication Date: June 5th,
2012
Format: purchased paperback
Pages: 418
Around the world, black handprints are
appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept
through a slit in the sky.
In a dark and dusty shop, a devil's supply of human teeth grown dangerously low.
And in the tangled lanes of Prague, a young art student is about to be caught up in a brutal otherworldly war.
Meet Karou. She fills her sketchbooks with monsters that may or may not be real; she's prone to disappearing on mysterious "errands"; she speaks many languages--not all of them human; and her bright blue hair actually grows out of her head that color. Who is she? That is the question that haunts her, and she's about to find out.
When one of the strangers--beautiful, haunted Akiva--fixes his fire-colored eyes on her in an alley in Marrakesh, the result is blood and starlight, secrets unveiled, and a star-crossed love whose roots drink deep of a violent past. But will Karou live to regret learning the truth about herself.

Challenge Updates! and Rambling....
Hello dear friends!
Sorry for my absents, I have been crafting. My ADD brain was hyper focused on
making things. I wanted to make book marks. I made one. All of my other ideas
did not go as well BUT I also started embroidering, and I learned to knit.
Although all I can make is a blob so far. Knitting is hard! I like embroidering though, maybe a little to much. I want to embroider everything now! Here's what I have made so far.

Blog Tour: Review + Giveaway!! An Imperfect Circle by R.J.Sable
"What do you do when the boy who rescues the last
remnants of your soul rejects what’s left straight afterwards? You move on.
That’s what you do. I’m not the sort of girl who sits on the sofa with a bucket
of ice cream mourning over anything. Especially not over a boy."
Sixteen year old Ellie Belrose has spent the last
five years rebuilding her life after something she'd rather forget. She's
finally getting somewhere but, when a figure from her past makes an unwanted
reappearance in her life, she's forced to confront her demons. Karl Carter is
fascinated by Ellie the moment he sees her but he doesn't realise she's Elise.
His Elise. He never forgot her and still isn't willing to - despite her
insistence. The two of them are stubborn, angry at the world, and sparks fly
when they come together. Can they help each other move on from the past or will
they drag each other back there?
